Recognizing the need for healthy foods and literacy, she started an online bakery and bookstore. However, she soon realized that the support she believed she'd get from financial investments left her feeling stuck and dismayed, leading her to make decisions based on societal norms rather than her true desires.

Through self-taught courses, and business trainings, Renate learned that her mindset influenced her emotions and reactions. By challenging and rewriting her narratives, she shed comparison and competitiveness, leading to a transformative shift.

Discovering her potential while writing her business book - “A Fresh Perspective: Creating a Lifestyle Business”, Renate embraced her talents and confidence. Many were intrigued with her lifestyle and sought her advice, particularly women business owners who left conversations feeling encouraged.

It was during her writing and preparing to put her bakery and books business for sale that she recognized her innate coaching abilities, deciding to formalize her support by founding a consulting firm. Her aim was to provide a supportive environment for breaking barriers and helping hardworking individuals who lack opportunities.

In 2012, Renate founded LadyRen’s Bakery & Books, followed by the launch of Life Curve Consulting in 2023, showcasing her commitment to innovation and women's businesses. Known for her leadership talent, Renate has earned numerous awards for her children’s books, cookbook, business book, and recognition as a TV Chef. She's been honored with awards like the Women Leadership Psychology Congress Distinguished Keynote Speaker Award and the 100 Women to KNOW in America Award by J P Morgan Chase.
