Wrapping Up an Amazing Year

As the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to each of you. Your support throughout 2024 has meant the world to us. Whether you shopped with us during Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, or Cyber Monday, or have been with us through every step of our journey, we truly appreciate your loyalty and trust.
This year has been full of growth, challenges, and triumphs. We are excited to share a few of the highlights from 2024, and reflect on the incredible progress we’ve made together:
A New Office in Charlotte – We’ve officially expanded our physical presence, and we’re thrilled to continue our work from this exciting new location.
Partnerships & Community Impact – Partnering with University City Partners and CMPD to provide books and reading sessions for local schools was a rewarding experience. We also donated to local and statewide animal shelters, advocated for elderly care, and contributed to literacy initiatives that make a difference.
Big Leaps in Consulting – We took bold risks with Life Curve Consulting, expanded our client base, and strengthened our presence in the digital space.
Advocacy & Mentorship – From inspiring young women in tech to mentoring career development and speaking out on important issues, we’ve remained committed to making a positive impact.
Personal Growth – We traveled, learned from our mistakes, and embraced change, removing what no longer aligned with our values. We are proud to say that we are not afraid to speak up on issues that matter, whether they relate to politics, business, or advocating for those who can’t advocate for themselves.
We also achieved something incredibly important this year: we set the goal to “unplug” and fully enjoy the holiday season, and we’re happy to say we’ve met it. It’s been a year of balancing hustle with self-care, and we encourage you to do the same as we enter the new year.
As we celebrate the holidays, we know that this time of year can bring both cheer and challenges. We want to keep you motivated and inspired, so please check out our latest blog articles, which are designed to uplift and encourage.

Happy October, and welcome back to The Entrepreneurs Edge monthly newsletter!
I’m thrilled to reintroduce this edition and share exciting updates from Life Curve Consulting. After a brief hiatus from social media and public engagements, I took the time to focus on my priorities and foundational work. In this issue, you’ll find the latest news and insights on what we’ve been up to, and how we’re supporting our customers’ entrepreneurial journeys.
1. What to Expect from The Entrepreneurs Edge Moving Forward
This monthly newsletter will keep you updated with the latest news, events, and promotions, along with valuable business development tips to support your growth.
We’re also excited to introduce The Entrepreneurs Edge #Monday Muse—a weekly email that delivers short, actionable topics to keep you motivated and inspired.
2. Why We Were Off the Grid
In March, I took a step back to assess and refine what I truly want to accomplish with our business coaching and consulting firm. Attending the WYN Women’s Conference in Paris reminded me of the importance of genuine connections and the urgent need for support in our community. This time away allowed me to formulate comprehensive strategies and build our growth plan. It provided the insight needed to eliminate obligations that no longer serve us and to move away from societal norms that don’t align with our mission.
By revising and mapping out our structure, we’re now focused on what truly inspires us each day at work. Our goal is to help entrepreneurs find connections, avoid poor investments, and create effective plans for growth. We assist those who are unsure of their next steps.
Additionally, we build and organize teams to achieve flawless project execution through strong collaboration, enhanced leadership skills, and open communication between employees and customers. This two-way interaction is crucial for business success.
3. Here’s What I’ve Been Up To
In my personal and professional journey, I’ve learned the value of embracing change and letting go of what no longer serves me. I stepped back from demanding roles, such as motivational speaking and international engagements, which, while fulfilling, had become exhausting. During this time, I nurtured an authentic relationship with a colleague that blossomed into the idea of partnering in business—a step I never thought I would take due to past experiences with trust and dishonesty. However, I’ve come to realize that taking chances is essential for growth, as long as it’s with the right people.
In the notes below, you’ll meet my friend and business partner, Traci Jones, who shares my passion for advocating for fairness and supporting small businesswomen who often feel overlooked despite their best efforts. Together, we aim to speak up against injustices and challenge unfair practices in both professional and personal realms.
One constant remains: my love for travel and work. The lifestyle business model I created 12 years ago has brought me great satisfaction, allowing me to balance both while sharing this approach with my clients. Now, I work part-time with Life Curve Consulting, helping entrepreneurs and firms with project management services, all while enjoying the flexibility to control my schedule and select my projects.
