Gah Is Real — And, So Is Your Grit
Starting Q3 with clarity, courage, and calm steps forward
We’ve made it to the second half of the year, and if you’re like me, you're carrying both fire and fatigue.
Right now, as I launch my Chef’s Blend Seasonings Inventory Sale, I’m feeling that familiar internal buzz. The one where excitement and self-doubt crash into each other and all you can say is… “gah.”
Yep. That feeling is real.
But here’s what I’ve come to know: Gah doesn't mean you're failing.
It means you care. It means you're invested. It means you’re stepping out of the safe zone and into your purpose.
So, whether you're prepping for a launch, shifting directions, or simply trying to keep your head above water, here are five things that’s been helping me move forward when “gah” strikes:
1. Shrink the Goal
I’m not trying to sell out overnight.
I’m focusing on real connections — one conversation, one DM, one jar at a time.
2. One Thing at a Time
Instead of staring down the whole to-do list, I just do the next right thing:
• Contact one person
• Label one batch
• Update one price sheet
Each small step clears the fog and builds momentum — and momentum is more reliable than motivation.
3. Replace Doubt with Facts
When the “what ifs” creep in, I replace them with truth:
• These seasonings are legit
• People have tasted and come back for more
• I’ve got product, purpose, and heart — I just need to show up
4. Let it Be Messy
The perfect launch is a myth.
I’m not waiting for polished photos or perfect emails. I’m showing up real, ready, and in motion. That’s enough.
5. Channel Your Inner Animal 🦉
Owls are my business animal. They’re wise, calm observers. They don’t rush . They act with intention. That’s how I want to approach this season: not with pressure, but with purpose.
If you’re feeling “gah” about anything in your business, whether it’s launching, scaling, or restarting, you’re not behind. You’re not alone. You’re right on time.
So take that step. Send that message. Post that offer, and step into Q3 with calm confidence and seasoned courage.
And if your next step includes supporting small — here’s how you can support me:
